Fearless Friday

Tis the season...to think of others, the season of giving...
Today, I think not of myself and my own selfish wants and needs, but instead, I am thinking of my dear friend
Jess and her family as they prepare for their first Christmas without their daughter.
It was just one year ago that we were hearing the most miraculous news, that their daughter Tuesday had beaten cancer and we all celebrated cautiously. They were gifted with one final Christmas to celebrate as a whole family. Sadly, it wasn't God's plan and one day after Christmas it was discovered that Tuesday's cancer had come back and ultimately she earned her wings just one month later.
As Christmas nears, my heart is heavy...but I am prayerful that Tuesday's family can find peace that passes understanding.
Please keep the Whitt's in your hearts this holiday season.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. ~Philip 4.6-7

I will remember them in my prayers as well this holiday season, tough memories for sure. I can't imagine the pain of losing a child as I am carrying my first. It just seems to go against nature, doesn't it.

Blessings to you!
